Lutheran Youth Organization
Our Beliefs
St. John's LYO (Lutheran Youth Organization) provides activities and educational programs for all students in grades 7 - 12. Under the direction of the Youth Ministry Team, monthly activities are planned which compliment the school and church calendars and offer an alternative for youth.
Confirmation Students
A two-year confirmation program is offered for students in 7th-8th grades, with confirmation celebrated in the fall of their 9th grade year.
All youth are encouraged to attend worship services. We believe children learn best by participating in worship alongside their families, growing together in faith and community.

Fishing in The Park
St. John’s LYO – Fishing in the Park
Join us for an afternoon of fishing, games, and a campfire at the park!
When: Saturday, July 25
Time: 4:00–8:00 p.m.
Where: Waukon City Park
All ages are welcome! Bring a friend and your fishing supplies if you have them. Children under age 16 do not need a fishing license.
A light meal will be provided.
If the weather does not permit outdoor activities, we will move indoors to the Fellowship Hall and enjoy alternative activities.
Please sign up by Sunday, July 12 in the church narthex so we can plan food accordingly.
